Hyderabad Man Arrested For Allegedly Molesting School Children

Mumbai: A man in Hyderabad has been arrested for allegedly molesting students enrolled in his school.

The accused, identified as Yasser, would reportedly lure children into a room by offering candies and molesting them. The man used to film this act as well.

This is reportedly a long-standing problem as many parents raised the issue with the school management, but to no avail.

As the school refused to take action against Yasir, the parents approached the police.

The accused has been arrested under sections 354(a) (sexual harassment and unwanted physical contact), and 509 (use of words and gestures with intent to outrage the modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code.

Apart from these, the accused has also been charged under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO) of 2012. Further investigation is on, The New Indian Express reported.
