IMD Predicts Heavy Rains To Hit Assam, Meghalaya And East Rajasthan

Mumbai: Heavy too Heavy Rains to hit East Rajasthan West Madhya Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya on Tuesday according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The weather forecasting agency further estimated that sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and some areas of Nagaland could also witness heavy downpour throughout the day.

IMD said in its All India Weather Bulletin Bulletin, “Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places in Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gujarat region, Madhya Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe.”

Thunderstorms are expected to occur over Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal.

Meanwhile, the weather is likely to prevail over Lakshadweep and the Maldives-Comorin region. The Meteorological Department has also advised fishermen not to venture into these areas.
