India Reports 3,722 COVID+, 134 deaths In Last 24 Hours, Tally Crosses 78,000 Cases

Mumbai: India crossed its 78,000 marks on the 51st day of nationwide lockdown as the figure Surged to 78,008 positive cases and 2,549 deaths.

At present, there are 49,219 active cases including 26,235 recoveries and a migration. About 3,722 positive cases and 134 deaths were reported afresh on Thursday morning.

The state-wise figures are— Maharashtra with 25,922 cases and 975 deaths, Gujarat 9,267 cases, and 566 deaths, and Tamil Nadu 9,227 cases and 64 deaths.

The country is in the state of lockdown since 24th March that was expected to lift on May 18th. Although, the lockdown has been extended further with new rules and relaxations to be released soon as per the announcement made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
