India Stands At 56,342 Covid-19 Cases, 103 deaths Reported In Last 24 Hours

Mumbai: India reports to pass 55 thousand marks by registering 3,390 Covid-19 cases and 103 deaths in the past 24 hours according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Today is the 45th day of nationwide lockdown extended for the second time. No signs of flattening curves are observed yet.

Delhi recorded its biggest spike in Covid-19 count as 448 new cases came into the board in 24 hours. Maharashtra secures its position as the most hard-hit state with 1,200 cases afresh.

Maharashtra witnessed high spikes in the week accounting for 17,974 cases including 10,000 cases from Mumbai alone. The death toll is at 698.

Gujarat, the second largest home to novel coronavirus has confirmed 7,012 cases. An average of 387 people was registered on Thursday. The death toll surges to 425 with 29 deaths in the last 24 hours.

Delhi stands at 5,980 Covid-19 cases with 66 fatalities. It also recorded its highest one-day recovery with 389 people recovered and the rate shot up to 32.29 percent.

Conclusively, India accounts for 56,342 Covid-19 cases including 37,916 active cases, 16,539 recoveries, 1,886 deaths and 1 migration.
