India Surpasses US In Total Number Of COVID-19 Vaccines Administered

India has also been witnessing a continuous fall in its active caseload. The country’s Active Caseload stands at 5,72,994 today

Mumbai: India has surpassed the United States in the total number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered so far, the Union Health Ministry said on Monday.

While India has administered a total of 32,36,63,297 doses to date, the US has given 32,33,27,328 doses, the ministry said.

The United Kingdom, Germany, Italy and France have given doses 7,67,74,990, 7,14,37,514, 4,96,50,721 and 5,24,57,288 respectively. 46,148 new COVID-19 cases were reported in India in the last 24 hours. The active cases have come down further to 5,72,994.

With 58,578 recoveries in the last 24 hours, the daily recoveries surpassed the daily new cases for the 46th day in a row, dropping the active caseload to 5,72,994. The national recovery rate is 96.80 percent.

The cumulative number of positive COVID-19 cases in the country is 3,02,79,331, which includes 2,93,09,607 recoveries and 3,96,730 deaths.

India has also been witnessing a continuous fall in its active caseload. The country’s Active Caseload stands at 5,72,994 today.

A net decline of 13,409is witnessed in the last 24 hours and active cases are now only 1.89% of the country’s total Positive Cases.
