India Takes Covid-19 Tally To 31,000, Death Toll Reaches 1,007
Mumbai: The spread of Coronavirus seems to be never-ending in India as it surges to cross 31,000 marks with the stars recording 31,332 cases nationwide, according to the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare
Despite the lockdowns imposed all over the country, India’s escalating figures are nowhere near to stop. The country’s Maharashtra state has homed around 9,318 infections- highest of the country, followed by Gujarat with 3,548 cases and Delhi with 3,108.
The country has reached the death toll of 1,007 with 7,695 recoveries and 1 migration.
The past 24 hours with 1,897 infections and 73 deaths in the country. It is observed to be the sharpest ever one day increase in the death toll of India.
Worldwide, the pandemic has surged to 5 million cases with 926k recoveries and 217k fatalities.
