Mumbai: Officials said that Jharkhand has registered 843 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, which is 24,067.
He said eleven more patients died in the state, after which the toll rose to 255. 15,348 people have recovered from the disease so far.
He said that at present there are 8,464 active cases in the state. During the last 24 hours, the state tested 16,682 samples for COVID-19.
In 55,079 cases, Spike took India’s COVID-19 to 27 lakh on Tuesday, just a day after crossing 27 lakh, while 19.77 lakh people have so far brought the recovery rate from the disease to 73.1 percent. Statistics of the Union Ministry of Health.
The COVID-19 case stood at 27,02,742, while the death toll climbed to 51,797 with 876 people succumbing to the disease in a span of 24 hours, the data updated at 8 am showed.
