JP Nadda Asks BJP Leaders To Expose Opposition’s Plan To Derail Efforts To Contain COVID-19 In The Country

Mumbai: While addressing the party MPs and party workers Bharatiya Janata Party chief JP Nadda urged them to expose the opposition’s plan to derail efforts to contain COVID-19 in the country.

Lauding the work done under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership to fight the pandemic, Nadda hit out at the opposition for derailing the steps taken by the Center to defeat COVID-19.

“A big conspiracy was hatched against the vaccination campaign and the war on the pandemic. The opposition did politics. Why the lockdown? Why not the lockdown? Now the issue of calf serum in vaccine and suspicion on the vaccine,” he said. He also targeted opposition leaders for trying to derail the vaccination process.

“On vaccination, Mamata Banerjee and Arvind Kejriwal said that they themselves want to buy vaccines. PM Modi decentralized it. However, it was centralized again after the failure of the states. People need to be told that we were serving people whereas opposition was derailing the process,” said Nadda.

It is the job of the Center to give the vaccine while it is the job of the state to destroy the vaccine. They threw the vaccine, he alleged.

Nadda said, “Manish Tiwari and Shashi Tharoor encouraged hesitation and said that we are not rats and guinea pigs. The society was made to fear the vaccination process.”

He further said, “The state governments failed to follow what was told to them and the advice sent to them, they were not alert enough.”

The BJP chief, who addressed the party leaders virtually, urged the party MPs to go out among the people and tell them how the opposition played politics to ensure that the COVID vaccination campaign is not successful and provide relief to the people.

Nadda also praised the MPs for serving the people when leaders and workers of other political parties were not visible even among the people.

“They are not coming out of quarantine yet and are doing politics only on Twitter. When everyone was spreading negativity, PM Modi launched a vaccination program,” said Nadda.
