Mumbai: In huge development in Maharashtra politics as Devendra Fadnavis sworn in as state chief minister and NCP’s Ajit Pawar as deputy CM the move from Bharatiya Janata Party was unexpected and surprised the whole state.

Well following the development, former Mumbai Congress chief Milind Deora tweeted a quote from ‘The Godfather’ movie which read: “Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer”.

Late-night reports on November 22 suggested that Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray would become the new Chief Minister of Maharashtra.

The move came at a time when discussions between Congress, NCP, and Shiv Sena reached the final stage on Friday.

Earlier, NCP supremo Sharad Pawar had claimed that there was consensus on Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray as the Chief Minister of the coalition government.
