Maha Vikas Aghadi Govt Is Violating All Rules: BJP Slams Thackeray’s Govt

Mumbai: Bharatiya Janata Party lambasted on Maha Vikas Aghadi government led by Uddhav Thackeray for changing pro tem Speaker.

BJP leader Chandrakant Patil said the current coalition government is “violating all rules” and that the saffron party will take the matter to Supreme Court.

While speaking to media, Chandrakant Patil said, “The Maha Vikas Aghadi changed pro tem speaker from Kalidas Kolambkar to Dilip Walse Patil, this is legally wrong. Even the oath was also not taken as per the rules. The new government is violating all the rules. We are filing a petition with Governor and might also approach the Supreme Court.”

A day after the coalition government removed BJP MLA Kalidas Columbkar from the post of pro-temple speaker of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, Patil’s rhetoric came to the fore and senior NCP leader Dilip Valse Patil was appointed in his place.
