Centre Rushes High-level Teams To 10 States/UT Witnessing Surge In COVID Infections

Mumbai: The rapid ascending figures of Maharashtra has tightened the noose as the state reports 729 cases on Tuesday.

An average of 106 patients were discharged today. The number of recoveries has risen to 1,388. About 400 people have succumbed to the pandemic, with 31 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Public Health Ministry of Maharashtra.

The state is receiving an average of 500 cases daily and is likely to surpass 10,000 by April 30. As of today, 1,29,931 samples have been tested across Maharashtra. The State currently homes 572 containment zones.

Maharashtra’s total figure surges to 9,318, with 7,530 active cases as of today.
