Most Corrupt, Anti-People & Useless: Javadekar On Maha’s MVA Govt

Mumbai: Union Minister Prakash Javadekar termed Maharashtra’s Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government the “most corrupt, anti-people and useless” government. Javadekar also mentioned the various alleged corruption cases against Shiv Sena and NCP leaders.

The saffron party also called Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray an “accidental and absentee” CM.

Speaking to the media, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar listed various cases of alleged corruption against leaders of Shiv Sena and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).

He also accused the MVA government of criminalizing politics in the state during its two-year tenure so far.

“There is nothing worth praising about the two years of this government. It has been the most corrupt, opportunist, anti-people and useless government ever in Maharashtra,” said Prakash Javaderkar.

Hitting out at Uddhav Thackeray, the Union minister said that the people of Maharashtra had given their mandate to the Shiv Sena-BJP alliance in the 2019 assembly polls, but the Shiv Sena chief decided to join hands with rivals NCP and Congress.

“People call it ‘Maha Vasulia Aghadi Sakar’ (an extortionist government). I want to give it a new name – ‘Maha Vishwasghati Aghadi Sarkar’ (an unfaithful government),” the BJP leader said.

Meanwhile, Uddhav Thackeray said that most of the two years of his government were spent in managing the Covid-19 crisis in the state and added that his government has successfully turned the crisis into an opportunity.
