MP Govt Announces Ex-Gratia Of Rs 1 Cr To Kin Of Soldier Killed In Baramulla Terror Attack

Mumbai: The Madhya Pradesh government has announced an ex-gratia amount of Rs 1 crore to the kin of soldier Manish who was killed in a terrorist attack in Baramulla, Jammu, and Kashmir.

A statue of Sepoy Manish will also be installed in the state and one of his family members will be provided a government job.

“The Madhya Pradesh government will provide financial assistance of Rs 1 crore to the kin of the deceased. A statue of Sepoy Manish will also be installed and one of his family members will be given a government job,” Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said.

The mortal remains of the soldier are brought to the state where his last rites are being performed with full military honors.
