MS Dhoni’s Parents Test Positive For COVID19

Mumbai: The parents of former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni have tested positive for COVID-19. In an update, Pulse Superspeciality Hospital stated that Dhoni’s parents’ oxygen levels are stable.

“Parents of cricketer MS Dhoni have been admitted here at the hospital after testing positive for #COVID19. Their oxygen level is stable,” said the hospital while providing an update.

Dhoni is currently leading the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). The side is playing their matches at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. After the completion of their next two matches, the team will move to Delhi for the next leg of the tournament.

CSK have won two of the three matches played so far and will take on Kolkata Knight Riders on Wednesday the next day.

In view of the increasing cases of COVID-19, the Jharkhand government on Tuesday announced a lockout in the state from 22 April to 29 April.

During the lockdown, essential services will continue. The shrines will remain open but the gathering of devotees will not be allowed. According to the order of the state government, agricultural, construction, industrial and mining activities will be allowed during the lockdown.
