Mumbai Rains: Trains Delayed, Schools To Be Shut, Sion, Matunga Water-logged

Mumbai: Due to heavy showers in the city Mumbaikars faces trouble, water-logging and traffic snarls being reported from across the city. Sion, Matunga, Mahim, Andheri, Malad, Dahisar areas have been worst affected following incessant rains over the past two days.

Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department has predicted more rain in the weekend by increasing the water crisis of the Mumbaiites.

In the last 24 hours, the city has received 150-180 mm of rains, in which more than 100 mm rains have occurred in Airoli and Navi Mumbai. In addition, areas like Dahanu, Alibag, and Ratnagiri have been placed on the alert of high rainfall. Since yesterday, 11 fights have been canceled and 17 others have been removed.
