NCP’s Supriya Sule Lambasts On PM Modi Says, Polarization Reached Our Homes, Will Cost Country

Mumbai: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MP Supriya Sule slammed the PM Modi-led central government and said the flames of polarization run by the BJP had ‘reached our homes’ and would cost the country dearly.

“India today, for the first time, as I remember, is persecuted and completely polarized. You have not only polarized it politically but in India today it is the whole vision, which is some new India, which I have never experienced and which is on caste and creed, has almost reached our homes,” the NCP leader said.
“This is not about whether you sit on this side or that side,” she added.

Targeting the government over the economic crisis, the NCP leader said, the government’s polarization agenda would harm foreign investment in the country.

“The government is hiding an agenda of the crisis that our economy is in and trying to drive the entire attention that is polarizing India, which is costing us dearly because it takes a big beating internationally Has been. It is going to hurt. Invest, it is going to hurt the nation, “she said.

Expressing disappointment over the government’s handling of farmers’ issues, he urged the government to introspect and take corrective measures instead of diverting the country’s attention. He called for steps to be taken for onion exports.

“We lost an opportunity six months ago and this is another golden opportunity for your government to help the farmer,” she said.

The NCP leader also mentioned that under this government, India has slipped in democracy index and it only talks about World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business ranking.
