Mumbai: The Pakistani troop violated the ceasefire yet again on Saturday. An army Jawan was martyred as the Indian army retaliated to the attack by Pakistan. The Pakistani troops resorted to mortar shelling and made use of small weapons to fire on the Indian side.

The firing from Pakistan’s side began at around 6:30 am in the morning along the line of control in Nowshera sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district. Indian Army retaliated with befitting force, but one of the army Jawan was martyred in a brawl between two countries. The martyred soldier was identified as Lance Naik Sandeep Thapa from Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

Pakistan had violated the ceasefire agreement just two days ago when the Indian army killed three Pakistani troops. In fact, Pakistan claimed of having killed five of Indian soldiers for which India denied of losing any of their soldiers in that war.

Pakistan had repeatedly tried of creating nuisance in the Indian territory ever since the Government of India has revoked article 370 that provided special status to the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan had also called for an intervention of the United Nations as it alleged that India has illegally and unilaterally taken action on an issue that dealt with Pakistan. however, the United Nations Security Council had rejected Pakistan’s plea to intervene and had asked India and Pakistan to solve the dispute bilaterally.

India, however, has always stated that the Abrogation of article 370 was an internal matter and had asked Pakistan to deal with reality.
