Mumbai: Billions of prayer got heard after the return of Indian Air Force Pilot, Abhinandan Virthaman from Pakistan were he was captured as his plane MIG 21 got crashed and after 2 days he was back to the country via Wagah Border.
People assembled in large numbers, raised slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’, sang songs like ‘Yeh Desh hai veer jawanon ka’ and greeted the commander with joy. BSF, Punjab Police, Traffic Police were already in alert.
During a mission on Wednesday following Pakistan’s jet, he went crossing the Indo-Pak border and was in control of Pakistan since then. He went through a tremendous fight and brought Pakistan’s F 16 down.
Everyone waited for the wing commander to come back safe and Friday broke out the day with his welcome.
Firstly he will go for Medical check-up although before coming to India, Pakistan already made Commander go for the check-up.
According to reports, after landing to Pakistan, when he got to know that he is not in India, firstly he went through a nearby lake and tried destroying confidential documents, while some he tried swallowing it.
Country salutes such heroes and with huge tribute everyone welcomed Abhinandan.
