PM Modi’s Government Has Failed On National Security Front

Mumbai: A fresh attack on the BJP government by SP chief Akhilesh Yadav who said that the BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the center has failed on the national security front.

In an exclusive interview with ANI news agency, Yadav said, “The BJP has failed so far because it is a matter of national security. Our soldiers are dying on the border and in Naxal-affected areas.”

When asked if national security at the Center would be one of the key agendas of the nation-BJP government, Yadav said: “National security is the most important issue for any country.”

“The regional parties are close to the people. They also have the experience, given the fact that they have done a good job in the past. So they will give their best,” Yadav told to ANI.

The SP Chief Yadav, while targeting the BJP, said that every day a security worker dies in the country. “The BJP talks about soldiers. When a soldier dies every day, then what kind of national security is it?

He also stated that his party believes in working not in advertising, “ When the SP was in power in UP, the aircraft like Sukhoi, Miraj, and Hercules landed on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway. We do not need to present the certificate for our contributions to the country.
Netaji (Mulayam Singh Yadav) was the Defense Minister of the country. We never told what we gave to the armies.”

In Uttar Pradesh, where there are 80 Lok Sabha seats, SP is contesting 37 seats, BSP 38 and its allies RLD-3 seats.

The final phase will be held on May 19. Counting of votes will take place on May 23.
