Mumbai: After losing the battle to the disease, PM Narendra Modi’s sister-in-law Bhagwati passed away in Ahmedabad today. She was admitted to the Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad, where she died after suffering a heart attack this morning. She was 55.
The body of Bhagwati is being taken to her house. Her funeral will be done in the evening crematorium on SG Highway, Ahmedabad.
Bhagwati was the wife of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s younger brother Prahlad Modi. Prahlad Modi is head of Gujarat’s Fair Price Shop Owners and Kerosene License Holders Association.
