Mumbai: The Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) has officially allied on Tuesday with Samajwadi Party (SP)-Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) alliance in Uttar Pradesh (UP). The RLD will contest three seats out of 80 seats in UP.
A formal announcement is been done by RLD’s Jayant Chaudhary for joining SP-BSP alliance at a press conference where former Chief Minister of UP and President of SP, Akhilesh Yadav were present.
He said, ‘RLD is uniting with SP-BSP alliance in Uttar Pradesh. We will compete in three seats. Our workers will firmly so that win all the 80 seats of UP for upcoming Lok Sabha election’.
The RLD party has a significant reinforce in the west part of Uttar Pradesh. It is likely to compete from Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat and Mathura Lok Sabha seats.
According to the previous announcements, SP-BSP will compete for 38 seats and 37 seats by SP. With three seats will go for RLD and 2 seats are left for Congress.
80 Lok Sabha seats are at the pole in Uttar Pradesh. SP-BSP alliance has left two seats i.e. Amethi and Rae Bareli which is for the Congress. It is presently represented by UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and President Rahul Gandhi. The all-embracing arrangements get extinct in UP for requisite LS elections.
Where Congress President Rahul Gandhi has already said that his party will contest the LS elections on all the seats with ‘full capacity’ knotting with his ideology.
Akhilesh Yadav said while answering a question, ‘Congress is with us. Why do the media often ask us whether Congress will come with us or not? I have said formerly as well that Congress is a part of the grand alliance. Congress is along with us. Congress will compete for 2 seats in the propinquity.
In response, Rahul said, “I think that Congress has stupendous amount to propose people of UP. SP-BSP and SP have every right have an alliance. With full ability, we will contest and fight so that to expand our ideology.”
He added saying, ‘it is on us that how to nourish and strengthen Congress party. SP-BSP and SP have made their political settlement.
