Sabarimala Verdict: Apex Court Refuses Urgent Hearing On Review Petition

Mumbai (New Delhi) : The petition which was filed earlier against the SC verdict of allowing entry women of  all ages in Kerala’s Sabarimala temple, recently Supreme Court has dismissed the urgent hearing for the same.

The petitions will be listed in the usual course after the advocate Mathew J Nedumpara, appearing for lord Ayappa devotees association sought urgent hearing the case ANI quoted bench headed Chief Justice Gogoi saying.

Earlier as per tradditions women of 10 to 50 ages were not allowed to enter the temple. Whereas after the SC verdict womens are now allowed to enter the temple. Meanwhile Lord Ayapppa devotees in Trivandrum organised Ayyappa Japa Yatra to protest againt the SC vedict.

The temple will opened on October 16, whereas lord Ayyappa Devotees has asked to court hear the review on or before 12th October. In the plea Ayyappa devotees daid that the SC judgement is against the “fundamental rights of belief and faith”. The SC judgement was shocking for all the Ayyappa devotees said their petitions.

Meanwhile advocate Nedumara said Kerala is making all the required arrangements to allow all the ages of women to enter the temple.

Now there are four review petition filed against the Sabarimala judgement.
