Mumbai: BJP President Amit Shah said that the sacrifices of 40 CRPF soldiers killed in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir will not be wasted for the Center’s BJP government, apart from the Congress’s dispersal, there is no agreement on any security issue.
While addressing the rally BJP president said, “This cowardly act was done by Pakistani terrorists and our Jawans sacrifices will not be wasted, because there is no Congress government at the Center, it is BJP government and the Narendra Modi government will not compromise on any security issue.”
Criticizing the Opposition Congress and its former allies Asim Gana Parishad (AGP), Shah said that despite the signing of the agreement in 1985, the two parties did nothing to implement the Assam Accord despite the duration of the agreement.
“We will not allow Assam to become another Kashmir. That is why we have brought NRC (National Register of Citizens). We will deport each and every infiltrator with the help of NRC. We are committed to that,” he said.
“It was not only for Northeast but for all refugees in the entire country. The way demography is changing in Assam, without the Citizenship Bill, the people of the state will be in big danger,” he added.
