Sandhya Shetty Walking For Cancer Affected Children At Mangaluru Fashion Week
Mumbai: Sandhya Shetty a supermodel and an actor is also a commonwealth karate gold medalist 2015. She is truly versatile and is absolutely passionate about her work. Her love for travel makes her go places and she has just come back to India after a month long trip to the USA.
She has walked as a showstopper for Bombay times fashion week and for several other designers. She is born in Mumbai but is native to Mangalore. So her excitement knew no boundaries when she was invited as a showstopper for Mangaluru fashion week for one of India’s top designer Salim Asgarally in contemporary clothing.

Mangaluru fashion week aimed to bring more than just the runway. The fund raised through the fashion show will go towards cancer affected children and women at Father Muller’s hospital. Sandhya Shetty walked as the showstopper and it seems she is doing her bit for the society while following her passion.
We spoke to her and this is what she has to say about the cause, “I had a great time walking for this beautiful cause. The aim was to raise money as well as awareness for Cancer affected children. I love kids and it was really a humbling experience to see them and share their pain. I urge everyone to do their bit towards not just these kids but to society. They need us and they are very much a part of us as we are a part of them. We have to stand united. There is no choice in that.”
Sandhya Shetty is definitely in a very happy space with a month-long trip in the USA catching up on friends and fulfilling her travel wishlist. Her experience in Miami to Host an event in the presence of Monica Seles was truly inspiring.
Sandhya Shetty shared a joke about Monica grunting on the tennis field and she doing the karate during her fights and they both together had a roar on stage.
Her experience in Los Angeles as a motivational speaker on ” life map called choices ” was an instant hit with the audience and she was applauded for her strength and her amazing journey as a model actor-anchor and a karateka and winning the Commonwealth gold medal in karate for India.
She travelled from Los Angeles to San Francisco and to Miami and Las Vegas and experienced the rain, snow and the sun all at one time.
Sandhya is looking for her acting journey not only in India but also internationally and she definitely has few plans up her sleeves.
Now that she is back in India and in her favourite city Mumbai she has already got a packed schedule and to begin with she flew to be a showstopper for designer Salim Asgarally at the Mangaluru fashion week.
This walk for her was very special because she is a Mangalorean and born and brought up in Mumbai. So Amchi Mumbai mulgi a dash of the south of India & enjoys best of both the world.
