Shiv Sena’s Arvind Sawant To Be Part Of Modi’s Cabinet

Mumbai: BJP’s biggest ally Shiv Sena has said that all the alliance includes Sena, will get one ministry berth in the Modi government that will be sworn in on Thursday. Shiv Sena has nominated Arvind Sawant’s name for the post.

Sanjay Raut told ANI, “A leader from the Shiv Sena will be sworn in as minister, Uddhav has given the name of Arvind Sawant, he will be sworn in as a minister.”

Raut further said that a new berth would be given to all the colleagues in the new government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

PM Modi and BJP President Amit Shah held a marathon meeting on Thursday before the swearing-in ceremony, were discussed which berth and which posts would be secured in the government?

It is clear that Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will  not be a part of a new government led by PM Modi, due to health issues he wrote yesterday does not want to be a part of the government owing to his ailing health, speculation was rife over Amit Shah taking over the finance ministry

If Amit Shah who won Lok Sabha Election from Gandhinagar seats, joins the Modi cabinet, he is likely to get one of the four major portfolios; finance, home, defence or external affairs.

Although External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has not contested the Lok Sabha election on the basis of health, there is an idea within the party that she will also be part of the new Cabinet.
