Sidhu Moose Wala Death: Punjab Police Claims Inter-Gang Rivalry Led To The Murder, Arrest Six Suspects

Mumbai: The Punjab Police has arrested six suspects in connection with the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala in Jawaharke village of Punjab’s Mansa district on Sunday.

The report said the police also found that the registration number plates of three vehicles, including Corolla, Grey Scorpio and Bolero, which were suspected to be used in the crime and which were recovered by the police yesterday, were found to be fake.

Meanwhile, the SIT is questioning all six suspects. The report said that the police picked them up on the basis of their links with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

The investigation team is also tracing the location of six people arrested for firing at Sidhu Moose Wala, while the footage of CCTV cameras installed on the way to Jawahar’s village and Barnala Road, Moose Wala’s house is being watched.

Besides this, SIT officials are also probing the mobile data dump which is active at the crime scene since last evening.

The Punjab Police has claimed that the inter-gang rivalry led to the murder of Congress leader and Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala.

The report further said that investigation has revealed that the reason for the shootout could be a fight between Lawrence and Lucky Patial, while Goldy Brar and Lawrence’s younger brother Anmol Bishnoi are said to be the key conspirators in the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala. Lawrence Bishnoi’s group has already claimed responsibility for Sidhu Musewala’s murder, citing vengeance for the murder of Vicky Midhukhera.

Yesterday on the instructions of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and Director General of Police (DGP) VK Bhavra, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Bathinda Range Pradeep Yadav constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) consisting of three members including SP Investigation Mansa Dharamvir Singh, DSP probe Bathinda Vishwajit Singh and in-charge CIA Mansa Prithvipal Singh have been asked to ensure effective and speedy investigation of the murder.
