There Are Some Problems Of SAARC Invited BIMSTEC For PM’s Swearing-In As We See Energy, Possibility In It: S Jaishankar

Mumbai: Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar recently spoke about PM Narendra Modi’s oath-taking ceremony as he said ‘BIMSTEC’ leaders were chosen over SAARC because New Delhi sees ‘energy, mindset and possibility in BIMSTEC’.

“There are some problems of SAARC and I think that we all know that this is even when you were keeping the issue of terrorism aside, there are issues of trade and business, if you see that PM’s swearing Why BIMSTEC leaders were invited, because we provide energy, mindset and possibility in BIMSTEC, “said Jaishankar.

A few days after assuming charge as Foreign Minister, the former Foreign Secretary said that New Delhi should build a near-field through regional contact projects. “A large number of people in India believed that India’s height in the world has increased in the past five years.”

“India has primary responsibility because we are the largest economy (in South Asia), in this sense our growth can work as a lifting tide for all our neighbours, if that happens then I do not think so. We should talk more, he said, “There is a need to encourage cooperation in the neighbourhood.”

S. Jaishankar was the Joint Secretary (US) in the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi from 2004 to 2007, he was involved in negotiating the US-India civilian nuclear agreement and improving defence cooperation, in which the 2004 Indian Ocean Suicide Campaign involved Were.
