Three-Tier Security Arranged By Delhi Police For Narendra Modi’s Swearing-In Ceremony

Mumbai: Preparation for Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony is in full swing at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi. Various high profile leaders, Bollywood personalities have determined to be part of a grand ceremony in the national capital.

Meanwhile, Delhi police have set up a three-layer security plan for this incident in which more than 8,000 guests are expected to participate. 8,000 to 10,000 police personnel have been deployed along with traffic personnel for the ceremony.

“Today we have a three-layer security system. The first layer is VIP protection along with Rashtrapati Bhavan, after which there is a layer of Delhi Police. Apart from security, we have coordinated the traffic system, “DCP Mathura Verma told the news agency ANI.

“Visitors coming from South Delhi will enter the Rashtrapati Bhavan from gate number 37 and their parking will be in the South Avenue area. Verma said that the visitors of North Delhi will enter the Rashtrapati Bhavan from gate number 38 and make their parking in the North Avenue Area side.

According to the traffic advisor, the following roads in New Delhi district will be closed for the movement of the general public between 4 am to 9 pm today.

The adviser enacted by the Joint Police Commissioner (Traffic) said, “Motorists and the general public, therefore, requested to avoid the above roads and plan their journey between 30/05/19 16.00 and 21.00 is.”
