Tokyo Olympics: Punjab Minister Announces Rs 1 Cr Cash Reward For Each Men’s Hockey Team Players From State
Mumbai: The Indian men’s hockey team has won a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics, Punjab Sports and Youth Services Minister Rana Gurmeet S Sodhi on Thursday announced a cash prize of Rs 1 crore each for the state’s players.

The Minister praised the team on the historic victory against Germany and tweeted, “An absolutely Gripping Match! It took 41 years, but every Indian’s dream finally came true on Thursday as the men’s hockey team beat Germany 5-4 to win a bronze medal at the OE Hockey Stadium – North Pitch here.
