UP Has Set An Example By Removing Unnecessary Loudspeakers: CM Yogi

Mumbai: UP CM Yogi Adityanath said the state has set an example before the country by removing unnecessary loudspeakers installed at religious sites or reducing their volumes across UP with harmony.

He said, “The instructions given for the use of loudspeakers should be strictly implemented. People should not face inconvenience and loudspeakers should not be installed in new places.”

On Wednesday, the Chief Minister was reviewing the law and order situation through video conferencing with the officers posted in the divisions, districts, tehsils and blocks.

Yogi said that the festival of Akshaya Tritiya and Eid will be celebrated on May 3, so the police and administrative officers should be alert.

He also said, “We have proved that Uttar Pradesh can be free from riots and can become an example of communal harmony. This is a great achievement of our government.”

He said that Ram Navami was celebrated with peace and harmony and a befitting reply was given to anti-social elements trying to spoil the atmosphere on Hanuman Jayanti.

Yogi said, “All religions have full respect, there is no interference of the state government in religious works, but common people should not be harassed.”

He said that in view of the increasing cases of Covid, mock drills would be organized in all the hospitals across the state on May 1 and 2 and fire safety should also be included in this.

He said that Tehsil Diwas would be organized on the first and third Saturdays of the month, while Thana Diwas would be organized on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month in all the districts.

From Monday to Friday, the officials should reserve one hour for the public hearing. He said that IGRS/CM Helpline has emerged as a good medium to solve the problems of the people.
