US Experts Alleges Islamabad For Manipulating Administration; ‘Time To Pull The Plug On Toxic Pakistan’

Pakistan has received in excess of USD 33 billion as assistance from America since 2002, including USD 14 billion to fight terrorism in the region

Mumbai: With Pakistan’s increasing lack of intent to curb terrorism sprouting from its soil, destabilising peace not just in the Indian subcontinent, but also denting a major hole in the coffers of the United States of America is intensifying the global havoc against them with each passing day.

Writing in The Hill, US expert Arthur Herman said that it is time for the US, and the world, to “pull the plug on the toxic relationship with Pakistan”.

“In wake of the debacle of withdrawing US troops from Afghanistan, it’s time to radically reassess our policy toward Pakistan. It’s time for policymakers, past and present, to explain why we continue to provide assistance to a country that cosies up to our enemies; has proliferated nuclear technology to some of the worst governments on earth; and has betrayed our friendship time and again,” Herman said.

Now, experts in the geopolitics of the region have claimed that Pakistan has been exploiting Washington, DC for its nefarious activities back home. They have been “systematically lying and manipulating” successive US presidential administrations, Republican and Democratic alike, making America and the world a worse conflict zone.

Islamabad is still on the ‘grey list’ of the Financial Action Task Force despite its repeated attempts to escape the hammer is a testimonial to its lack of intent to adhere to the anti-terror funding norms.

Pakistan has received in excess of USD 33 billion as assistance from America since 2002, including USD 14 billion to fight terrorism in the region, but the country has cunningly been doing the exact opposite with the aid.
