Violence That Haunts The Defeat In Assembly Elections: Kejriwal

Mumbai: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal accused the opposition (BJP) of spreading violence in various parts of the city, stating that they were afraid of “defeat” in the upcoming assembly elections, which is likely to happen next year.

He said, “Efforts are being made to drag the name of the AAP in the recent events. Why will the AAP do it? What will we do? We should all maintain peace. Only those fearing defeat in the upcoming election are inciting riots,” he said reporters here.

The chief minister made the remarks after protests by the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in Seelampur area of ​​north-east Delhi, forcing police to use tear gas shells to disperse the protesters, who on Tuesday Set two buses on fire.
