Walk-In Vaccination For 18-44 Age Group From June 21 At All Centres In Gujarat

In terms of numbers, about 2.15 crore people in Gujarat have already received one or both doses of COVID vaccines

Gujarat: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani’s Office has said that all COVID-19 vaccination centers in the state will permit walk-in registration for the 18-44 age group from June 21.

At present, the state only permits those who register on CoWIN in the 18-44 group, to avail themselves a vaccine dose.

A government statement said that walk-in vaccination will be done every day in the state after 3 pm. However, the beneficiaries who have been given appointments through online registration will still be given topmost priority and preference.

In terms of numbers, about 2.15 crore people in Gujarat have already received one or both doses of COVID vaccines.

In other news from Ahmedabad city, recently Thursday (June 17) witnessed the second day of monsoon. Between 2 pm and 4 pm, the eastern parts of the city received about 1.5 inches of rain, while some areas like Ramol, Vatva, Bodakdev, and Maninagar remained dry.

Moreover, about 41 places in eastern Ahmedabad saw water-logging on the streets as a result of the persistent rain.
