West Bengal Reports 277 New COVID-19 Cases, 1 Fresh Fatality In Last 24 Hours
Mumbai: The health bulletin said that West Bengal’s COVID-19 number rose to 5,77,788 on Friday as 277 more people tested positive for the infection, while the state’s coronavirus died of 10,287 due to a recent fatal incident.
Kolkata reported loneliness. Mahanagar registered the highest number of new cases in 83, followed by North 24 Parganas (71) and Howrah (26).

A total of 253 more people were cured of the disease as the recovery rate in coronavirus patients in the state was 97.68 per cent.
There are now 3,133 active COVID-19 cases in the state, while 5,64,368 people have so far recovered from the disease.

West Bengal has so far tested 87.87 lakh samples of COVID-19, including 19,376 samples in the last 24 hours.
