With 10 New COVID19 Cases, Manipur Tally Reaches To 282

Mumbai: Officials said on Tuesday that ten more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Manipur taking the total number of cases in the state to 282.

Of the 10 new cases, nine from Noni district and one from Kamjong district, a statement was issued which the COVID-19 Common Control Room has released today.

All 10 people had returned from Delhi, Kerala, Bengaluru, and Mumbai and said that they would be transferred to the hospital.

Subsequently, six people undergoing COVID-19 treatment in RIMS were discharged after testing negative for COVID-19. It states that he has been asked to stay out of the house for 14 days.

The statement said that out of a total of 282 COVID-19 cases, 218 are active as 64 people have recovered from the deadly disease.

Meanwhile, COVID19 figures in India have surged to 2,66,598 as the country reports 9,987 cases and 331 deaths.
