Mumbai (Delhi) : One of the case has been came into light were a ACP has been booked for allegedly raping a woman and also molesting her daughter in her absence.
The officer was identified as a Ramesh Dahiya who was recently elevated to the ACP rank.
“A case of rape and POCSO Act was registered against Ramesh Dahiya on Wednesday and the investigation is transferred to the Crime Branch,” said a police officer.
As per police the case was received in a last month where the woman stated that she came in contact with Dahiya when he was posted as Station House Officer (SHO).
Ramesh Dahiya was recently promoted to the ACP rank.
The case is still under the investigation were the woman stay with her three children, it was also reported that Dahiya had molested her her minor daughter when she was alone.
