YS Reddy To Have Five Deputy CMs In Cabinet

Mumbai: It was an unprecedented move, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday decided to have five Deputy Chief Minister in a full 25-member Cabinet.

The new Council of Ministers will be formed at a public function here on Saturday.

The Chief Minister held a YSR Congress Legislature Party meeting at his residence here in the morning, where he announced the decision to appoint five Deputy Chief Ministers.

According to this, each of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward, Minority and Kapu communities will be made a Deputy Chief Minister.

He also told his legislators that the cabinet will mainly include members of the weaker sections, unlike expectations that the Reddy community will get a share of a lion.

He said that the cabinet will be reconstituted after two and a half years after a mid-term review of the government’s performance.
