2 Arrested For Killing Man & Assaulting His Girlfriend In Mumbai’s Mahim
Mumbai: Two men have been arrested in Nagpur for allegedly attacking a couple with sharp objects in Mumbai’s Mahim Chowpatty earlier this week.

“While Shaikh died in the incident, the woman is undergoing treatment,” the police official said, adding that the suspects are being interrogated.
He said that the incident took place on Tuesday evening, in which 30-year-old Mohammad Waseem Sheikh was stabbed to death by the assailants and his girlfriend was injured.
According to the woman’s complaint, she and her accomplice had gone to Mahim Chowpatty at midnight on Tuesday. At around 2.30 pm, two unidentified people reached Chowpatty near her and tried to rape the woman. When both tried to resist, they were attacked with sharp weapons.
Police had registered a case under relevant IPC sections.
