352 Civilians Including 14 Children Killed In Ukraine Amid Russia’s Invasion

Mumbai: Ukraine’s Health Ministry has informed that 352 civilians, including 14 children, have been killed since the beginning of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Ukraine added that 1,684 people, including 116 children, have been wounded. The ministry’s statement did not reveal any details on casualties among Ukraine’s armed forces, the Associated Press reported.

While Russia has claimed that its troops are only targeting Ukrainian military facilities, Ukraine said that Russia was lying about not shelling civilian infrastructure.

Last week a missile struck a residential building in the capital Kyiv. Ukrainian government adviser Anton Herashchenko said at least 40 such sites had been targeted and Russian troops were shelling civilian sites.

Russia, which claims that Ukraine’s civilian population is not in danger, has reported no casualties among its troops.

According to the AP, the Russian Defense Ministry acknowledged on Sunday that its soldiers were killed and wounded, but did not give any numbers.
