Mumbai: Due to heavy rains in Konkan region a part of a mountain fell apart on the road in Parshuram Ghat, located in Chiplun.
On Saturday in the afternoon hours, the road in Parshuram Ghat was blocked by a huge rock mountain which collapsed due to heavy rains.
No injuries are caused in the incident so far.
Due to rains, the soil in the ghat region has become slippery. Heavy rain turned out the piece of mountain fell apart on the road of ghat which has blocked the road. In case of increase in the rain another side of the mountain may also collapse.
The roads are blocked by which transportation has been closed.
