Mumbai: Followed by a range of accusations faced by the builders of the Aarogya Setu App, the handle released a report claiming ‘No personal Information of Users is at risk.’

“Aarogya Setu app is designed to collect a user’s location at certain points in the process—at the time of registration, at the time of self-assessment, and also every time when the user voluntarily shares their contact tracing data from within the app or in case a self-assessment indicates COVID-positive”, states the report.

“No personal information of any user has been proved to be at risk by this ethical hacker. We are continuously testing and upgrading our systems. Team Aarogya Setu assures everyone that no data or security breach has been identified.”

The report comes after an Ethical Hacker, Elliot Anderson tweeted the inconvenience of the app.
