COVID19: 2,958 Cases Reported In Last 24hrs, Death Tally Reaches 1,694 In India

Mumbai: India records its biggest single-day jump as the figures increase by 2,958 cases and 126 deaths in the past 24 hours.

Despite the nationwide lockdown, the spread of the virus seems to be at no halt. The total figure of India has surged to 49,391, including 33,514 active cases, 1,694 deaths, and 14,182 recoveries.

Most of the cases have been recorded from Maharashtra (15,525) followed by Gujarat (6,245) and Delhi (5,104). About 11,91,946 tests have been done in India so far according to the figures established by the ICMR on Tuesday.

Today is the 43rd day of the second extended nationwide lockdown. Certain relaxations bad been imposed by The Ministry of Health Affairs (MHA) allowing the non-essential services mostly in Green and Orange zones.

Although, the state governments are taking individual measures to tackle the hassled situation and win this fight against the Virus.
