Adhir Chowdhury Seeks GOI’s Stand On Abrogation Of 35A & 370 As They Assured End Of Terrorism In Kashmir

Mumbai: Congress Leader Adhir R Chowdhury on Monday has shown deep concerns and questioned the Central government’s decision of abrogation of 35A & 370, on the increasing terror murdering of innocent civilians in Jammu & Kashmir
“It’s a matter of concern. We feel bad when our soldiers, innocent civilians are killed. We want the govt to tell what’s their stand as they had assured people that after the abrogation of 35A & 370 terrorism will end in Kashmir,” said Adhir R Chowdhury. He also added that during his recent visit to Kashmir he had raised the issue that the rise of the Taliban regime is going to show adverse effects on Kashmir.
“During my visit to Kashmir, I had said that the return of the Taliban to Afghanistan can have an impact on Kashmir also. I also expressed my concern that this silence in Kashmir is a signal of an upcoming storm,” he added. For the past few days, terror activities in the union territory have increased. Two non-local were killed in an open fire at Wanpoh area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday

On Saturday evening, a street vendor from Bihar was killed in the Eidgah area of Srinagar whereas, on the same day a carpenter from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh was killed at Litter in Pulwama district.
On 7 October, terrorists killed Supinder Kaur, Principal, and Deepak Chand, teacher, at a government school in Srinagar.
