All Schools, Colleges, Gyms Across India To Be Closed Till March 31: Govt

Mumbai: The government on Monday announced countrywide closure of all educational institutions including schools, colleges and universities till March 31 to control the spread of coronavirus.

Gyms, museums, swimming pools and theatres have also been asked to remain shut. The government also advised social distancing, urging citizens to keep 1-metre distance between each other.

The total number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in India touched 114 on Monday.
