Mumbai : In a recent development UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath suggested if board consensus is achieved then the state Allahabad should be renamed as a ‘Prayagraj’.
“It might be the wish of many people that Allahabad can be renamed as a ‘Prayagraj’. If everyone agrees, we should know the city as Prayg Raj and it can be a good start” says CM Adityanath.
As per media reports the banners for the upcoming Kumbh Mela 2019 mentioned the name of city as a “Prayagraj”.
Kumbh Mela will br go on floor from 15th of January 2019.
