‘Best Wishes On Your Birthday’, PM To Former CM Shivraj Chouhan

Mumbai: Former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan became 59 years old today. On this date in 1959, he was born in Budhni, Madhya Pradesh. He was the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh for 3 consecutive terms that are for 15 years.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Wished Former CM Shivraj Chouhan by tweeting, he wished best wishes to CM and said, ‘Your energy and humility have endeared you to all sections of society. Madhya Pradesh always remembers your outstanding governance’.

CM Chouhan is a Gold medalist in Philosophy from Barkatullah University. he came in touch with the Jana Sangh. for the next few years, he persists to be a part of the Jana Sangh and later the Bhartiya Janata Party. Chouhan after being CM for the13 years, he carried out a few populist steps like he assesses free television sets and rice at Rupee 1 for the poor.

CM Chouhan did any work at ground level and in the favour of poor people despite having a good image in forepart for farmers, Madhya Pradesh continues to face as one of the highest numbers in terms of farmer suicide cases annually. The most talked about among his work for people was the Ladli Lakshmi Yojna which sight to eradicate murder of the baby girl. As per the Yojna, every time when a girl is born in a family who are below the line of a certainly capable income, the state buys a certificate worth Rs 6000 which is assembled and given to the parents over the years with the age and for educational qualification.
