Union Minister and BJP’s Delhi election in-charge Prakash Javadekar while addressing a press conference here said, “The delay in hanging the culprits in the 2012 Delhi gang-rape case is now due to the negligence of the Delhi government. The AAP is responsible for the delay of injustice. In 2017, the Supreme Court refused to withdraw his appeal and sentenced him to death. Why did the Delhi government not give notice to the culprits of filing mercy petitions in the last 2.5 years? It shows that they have sympathy for rapists.”
