“BJP Government Was A One-Man Show And Two Men’s Army,” Shatrugan Sinha After Joining Congress

Mumbai: Recently we witnessed actor turned politician Shatrughan Sinha quits BJP to join Congress party led by Rahul Gandhi.

“Lalu Prasad has a big role to play in my joining the Congress, he sends me here on the day of Navratri. Though I am little upset on leaving the party (BJP) on its foundation day,” Sinha said.

Sinha said that the decision to leave BJP was not taken overnight. He further said, “Those who were eligible were never given the post (subject to the BJP government). I had said that I never left the BJP, if the party wants then she can leave me. The party had threatened me many times, but there was no action due to crime or shame. So I made a decision (to join Congress).

“I was in the party for 25 years. I saw that this (BJP) government was a one-man show and two men’s army, it became autocratic.

Earlier Sinha tweeted saying, “I’m hopeful that the Grand Old National Party which I’m stepping into, will provide me with opportunities to serve our people, society and nation in terms of unity, prosperity, progress, development, and glory. This is a party of great nation builders and luminaries like.”
