BJP Leader Booked In UP For Sexual Harassment Of Woman Party Activist

Mumbai: Sexually harassing the fellow activist of the party a BJP leader gets punished in the Budhana town of Uttar Pradesh, Muzaffarnagar police said on Tuesday.

The circle officer Kushal Pal Singh told that this incident was held on Monday by the Mandal vice president of BJP Ashish Jain. The case was registered as the alleged sexual harassment of the female party activist and threatening her to not to tell anyone. 

While writing the FIR of the incident, women told that the Mandal vice president Ashish Jain entered her house, sexually harassed her and when she opposed he threatened her. This woman is the activist of the party’s Mahila morcha. 

It’s not new in the politics but it again breaks the trust of the female on male and again makes a question to women will about the quality of men before she goes outside or she sees them nearby her. It again raises the question about the safety of women’s in the nation. 

Ashish Jain was booked under Indian Penal Code sections 354 (criminal assault with intent to outrage modesty), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 452 (house-trespass) and the matter is being investigated, the CO said.
