Champions Don’t Finish Very Quickly, Sourav Ganguly Over MS Dhoni

Mumbai: The former Team India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni works along with the board of control for cricket (BCCI) Sourav Ganguly, on Wednesday, made it clear that MS Dhoni will be respected whatever he decides about his future as an international cricketer.

MS had done very much for the team India since he started playing for it. At the time he proved he is the best wicketkeeper-batsman as well as the skipper and the world accepts it fully.

Under the captainship of MS, Dhoni Indian won its second ICC World Cup in 2011, also Champion Trophy and T20 World Cup as well. Meanwhile, MS is missing from the team since India faces defeat from New Zealand in ICC World 2019 Cup semi-final.

“I don’t know what’s in his mind. India is very proud to have MS Dhoni. Till I am around everybody will be respected. Dhoni’s achievements make India proud,” said Ganguly during a press conference in Mumbai.he also said in the conference he will have a word with by saying,

“I am yet to talk to him. I will have a word with one of the greats of the Indian game.”

“I have always said when I was left out and the entire world said ‘I will never make it.’ I came back and played for 4 years. Champions don’t finish very quickly,” said Ganguly.

Recently India whitewashed South Africa in the test series and captain Kohli pointed out that Ganguly is yet to speak to him about Dhoni’s future.
